6 Best Movies To Watch on a Fall Night

Many great things come with the lovely season of fall. Fresh apple cider, corn mazes, bonfires, cute sweaters, football, and some of the best movies. Since fall is a great time to have a movie night, here are some fall classics that I love to watch.

Football Movies

Fall is football and everyone who loves football loves these football classics. These movies are about breaking boundaries and coming together as a community. Both stories are based on football teams that have an opportunity to grow and to realize the beauty of diversity. My only suggestion is that you keep a tissue box handy, especially if you’re a softy like me.

School Movies

Along with fall comes the beginning of the school year. This Robin Williams classic is all about students finding their voice and learning how to see learning about literature in a different light. The first time I watched this movie was in the fall during my public speaking class so maybe I’m just nostalgic, but I highly suggest adding this movie to your fall watch list.

3. Dead Poets Society*

Halloween And Thriller Movies

Now seriously, what is more fall than Halloween? While not all of these movies are ‘Halloween’ movies, they all give the same effect of creepy mystery. I’ll admit that I watched Hocus Pocus every year even though I didn’t sleep for a week because I was convinced the sisters were going to come and get me. These movies are always a good fall watch!

  1. Great diverse list of movies on this list. I must keep in mind these movies for when I head into fall/autumn in six months 🙂 Thank you for sharing your movie selections as some of these I have yet to see.
